Negahban Program Registration
First, whenever the government launches a program in Pakistan, it qualifies or disqualifies people based on BISP’s NSER data. However, at a recent meeting, Maryam Nawaz stated that the BISP’s data is insufficient to identify the poor.
As a result, they will soon announce a survey in which government representatives will visit people’s homes to assess their living conditions and determine who is poor. The same representatives will then visit the homes of those identified as poor. They will get a ration.

Eligibility Criteria
This ration will not be distributed to all people because it is impractical to do so. Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, has announced that 70 to 80 lakh families will receive free rations. They will be given dal, rice, ghee, and other items, but not everyone will be able to receive them.
For this reason, an eligibility criterion has been established; only those who meet this critical criterion will be rationed by the Nighaban program.
