25000 Through the Neghebaan Program

The Punjab government has announced a special subsidy for deserving families during Ramadan, with Maryam Nawaz Sharif providing free Rashan to families registered under the Benazir Income Support Program. This initiative aims to promote gender equality and empower poor families, as part of Pakistan’s Neghebaan program.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif has assured deserving families that they will not face any issues in obtaining Rashan. To register, individuals must complete a survey, which will be conducted by a government team visiting deserving households to collect data on poor households. Once verified, a free Rashan will be provided at the recipient’s doorstep, eliminating the need to visit the government for the Rashan.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that the Rashan would be delivered to families’ homes during fasting, as it is uncomfortable for them to stand in long queues. The Chief Minister agreed to this, as families cannot stand in long queues. To register for the program, individuals can send their National Identity Card to 8070.

Neghabaan Relief Program Survey

The Punjab government is set to launch the 25000 Through Neghebaan Program, providing free Rashan to registered families. To register, families must meet specific criteria, and only those from poor families and small jobs earning between 20,000 to 25,000 rupees per month will be eligible. This program is designed for families with incomes between 20,000 and 25,000 rupees per month.

The Benazir Income Support Program’s data will not be used due to disqualifications. Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced a separate survey for the Negheban program, where a team will collect data from participants’ homes. The data collected will then be used to provide free Rashan. This is because many participants have already been disqualified.
