Currently, the disbursement of the Kafalat program is underway across all four provinces, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, under the auspices of the Benazir Income Support Program. Eligible individuals registered under the sponsorship program can receive their assistance. It’s worth noting that the government of Pakistan has recently increased the Kafalat amount from Rs8,500 to Rs10,500.
Furthermore, considering the month of Ramadan, the government is providing additional financial assistance to alleviate the burden on the impoverished and deserving individuals. Residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive an extra Rs10,000, while those in Sindh will receive Rs5,000.
